Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this vital role, you will coordinate service requests, manage dispatch operations, and communicate effectively with customers, drivers, and vendors. Your proactive approach will ensure smooth transportation management, efficient freight handling, and exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Answer multi-line phone systems promptly and professionally, providing clear communication and assistance to customers and team members
- Schedule and dispatch service technicians
- Maintain accurate data entry in systems
- Coordinate transportation planning
- Utilize analysis skills to troubleshoot dispatch issues, improve routing efficiency, and enhance overall transportation operations
- Communicate with drivers and vendors regarding shipment status, delivery updates, and scheduling changes using phone etiquette and effective communication skills
- Assist with shipping & receiving processes, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries in compliance with company policies
Skills
- Excellent analysis skills for troubleshooting dispatch issues and optimizing routes
- Experience with dispatching
- Effective communication skills paired with professional phone etiquette for interacting with customers, drivers, and vendors
- Ability to handle shipping & receiving tasks accurately while managing fleet operations

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
