Demoya Highway Infrastructure LLC is looking for a reliable, hard-working Journeyman/ Electrician to join our team for projects across Southwest Florida. If you enjoy hands-on work and want to build the critical infrastructure that keeps our Naples Project running , we want to hear from you!
We are looking for a Journeyman Electrician capable of Building Service points that can comply with inspections with NEC code and FDOT Standards. MUST BE EXPERIENCED.
What You’ll Do:
- Installation: Independently Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, lighting control and power systems in Industrial settings.
- Blueprints: Must be able to read electrical blueprints
- Safety: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines, especially regarding trenching and excavation.
- Troubleshooting
- Strong understanding of electrcial circuits, wiring, and safety protocols.
What We’re Looking For:
- Equipment Skills: Familiarity with operating trenchers, mini-excavators, or skid steers is a major plus.
- Requirements:
- Valid Florida Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work outdoors in Florida heat and lift up to 65 lbs.
- Must pass a background check (required for certain job site badging).
- Bonus: Bilingual in English/Spanish.

Duties
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair industrial and commercial electrical systems, including high-voltage wiring and low-voltage control systems.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately execute wiring layouts and system configurations.
- Conduct electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to identify faults and determine appropriate repairs.
- Ensure all work adheres to NEC (National Electrical Code), NFPA 70 standards, and local electrical codes for safety and compliance.
- Perform electrical wiring on new constructions, renovations, and upgrades while following established safety procedures.
- Use hand tools and power tools efficiently for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting tasks on various electrical systems.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and team members to complete projects on time while maintaining high safety standards.
Skills
- Extensive experience with industrial electrical systems and commercial electrical wiring projects.
- Strong knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC standards, and local electrical codes.
- Proficiency in reading electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
- Skilled in troubleshooting complex electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and circuit testers.
- Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation systems.
- Ability to handle high-voltage electrical wiring safely in accordance with industry safety procedures.
- Familiarity with construction site environments, renovation projects, and installation of low voltage systems.
- Excellent hand tool skills along with experience operating power tools safely in demanding settings.
- Strong understanding of electrical safety procedures to prevent accidents during installation or repair work.
- Proven ability to perform detailed inspections, identify issues promptly, and implement effective solutions efficiently.
