Varney GMC is looking to hire an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our accounting team at our location in Bangor, ME. Job Responsibilities
· Make and receive phone calls pertaining to billing-related inquiries for the dealership
· Perform various coding and data entry for vendor invoicing or other expenses
· Process checks and handle a variety of payment-related tasks
· Conduct monthly reconciliation of vendors
· Assist with general office duties as necessary
· Work with accounting department and assist accounting managers with other responsibilities as assigned
Job Qualifications
· At least one (1) year of accounting experience in an office environment
· Previous automotive dealership experience is a plus!
· Attention to detail
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
· Strong organizational skills and able to multitask to handle multiple projects
