Hearing Healthcare of Louisiana is looking for a full-time or part-time Patient Care Coordinator for our local, community-oriented practice in Metairie.

Responsibilities include:
- Warmly greeting patients and other visitors
- Answering phones in a prompt and courteous manner
- Outbound calling to current and prospective patients
- Entering and updating all patient information including intake and insurance forms
- Scheduling appointments
- Receiving funds and processing payments
- Maintaining excellent working relationships with patients, vendors, colleagues, etc.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in administration, accounting, sales, healthcare, or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience
- Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships with patients, colleagues, and external partners.
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent listening, problem-solving, and service recovery skills.
- Ability to accurately process and track financial transactions, including payments, reconciliations, and basic accounting functions.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain workflow efficiency.
- Demonstrates empathy, compassion, and professionalism in all interactions.
- Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy in data entry, documentation, and recordkeeping.
- Proficiency with office systems, including scheduling software, electronic medical records (EMR), and basic computer applications.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information in accordance with privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
- Willingness and ability to travel for training or professional development, as required by the practice
Pay & Benefits:
- Competitive hourly rate ($15-$16 DOE) plus potential for results-based incentive plan after 90-days of employment;
