You will be the first point of contact for our patients and your quick thinking, excellent communication skills and attention to detail will be key to making their visit a successful one!
Ophthalmic Medical Technician duties but not limited to:
- Taking patient medical histories.
- Instructing patients about medications, tests and procedures.
- Performing vision and diagnostic tests.
- Performing Treatments Like OptiPLUS and other state of the art equipment.
- Assisting with patient procedures.
- Coordinating patient scheduling.
- Prepping charts
- Ensuring Doctors are running on time for appointments
- Educating patients about their treatment plan
- Scribing
- Completing charts in a timely manner
- Supervising and training other allied ophthalmic personnel.
