Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service during fuel purchases and retail transactions
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales, returns, and refunds
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions with integrity and attention to detail
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store area, including stocking shelves and merchandising products
- Conduct product demos when appropriate to promote new or featured items
- Upsell relevant products or services to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales
- Ensure all safety procedures are followed during fuel dispensing and store operations
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales, grocery stores, or similar customer-facing roles preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and cash handling techniques
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers politely and effectively
- Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse community needs
- Knowledge of phone etiquette for handling inquiries professionally
- Basic math skills for cash register operations and transaction accuracy
- Supervising experience is advantageous for leadership opportunities within the team
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves, cleaning, and standing for extended periods
