Metal Solutions, Inc. is looking for an experienced Metal Fabricator to join our team.
We are a precision machining and fabrication job shop producing a wide variety of custom components and assemblies. This is not repetitive production work. Our projects change frequently, and we need someone who is comfortable reading a print, figuring out how a part needs to be made, and taking ownership of the job from start to finish.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for an experienced, well-rounded fabricator who understands the entire fabrication process — from cutting and forming through fit-up, welding, and final inspection.
The right person will:
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings, weld symbols, dimensions, and tolerances
- Lay out, fit, and assemble fabricated components from prints
- Operate and/or have experience with CNC laser cutting equipment
- Set up and operate a CNC press brake to form parts accurately to print
- Understand bend allowances, bend deductions, material thickness, tooling selection, and forming sequence
- Verify laser-cut and formed parts before they move to the next operation
- Be comfortable working with carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
- Have experience with saws, grinders, drills, hand tools, and other common fabrication equipment
- Understand proper fit-up, alignment, and dimensional control
- Tack and fit assemblies accurately prior to welding
- Use inspection equipment to verify work
- Work efficiently while maintaining quality
- Be willing to jump in and help wherever needed in a small-shop environment
Experience with MIG and TIG welding is a strong plus, but we are primarily looking for someone with strong overall fabrication skills who understands how a part moves from a flat piece of material to a completed component or assembly.
We are a small shop, which means everyone matters.
We need someone who comes to work ready to work, takes pride in what they build, and understands that quality is everyone's responsibility.
There is a lot of variety here, and priorities can change quickly. The people who do well in our environment are dependable, adaptable, willing to help their coworkers, and don't need someone standing over them to make sure the job gets done.
If you enjoy building different things, solving problems, and being trusted to take ownership of your work, you'll fit in well here.

- Competitive hourly compensation based on experience
- Full-time, day-shift position
- Four-day workweek — Monday through Thursday, overtime Friday
- Health insurance
- Paid vacation and holidays
- 401(k)
- Variety of fabrication work rather than repetitive production

- Opportunity to learn additional equipment and processes
- Small-team environment where your contribution matters
- Opportunity to contribute ideas and improve how work gets done
