Commercial & Residential Maintenance Technician / Handyman

This position would work directly for Family Grounds & Grove St. Properties.
We are seeking experienced and dependable Maintenance Technicians to join our team and provide maintenance, repair, and improvement services for a portfolio of commercial and residential properties.
Position Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on maintenance, construction, or handyman experience required.
- Strong carpentry skills, including repairs, installations, and finish work.
- Experience with drywall repair, patching, and finishing.
- High-quality interior and exterior painting experience.
- Ability to perform general building repairs, preventive maintenance, and property upkeep.
- Working knowledge of: Painting, Electrical systems and basic troubleshooting, Masonry repairs, HVAC systems and maintenance
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and solve problems efficiently.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Reliable transportation and a strong commitment to safety and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs for commercial and residential properties.
- Complete work orders in a timely and professional manner.
- Troubleshoot and repair issues related to building systems and property infrastructure.
- Conduct inspections and identify maintenance needs before they become larger issues.
- Assist with renovations, property improvements, and turnover preparation.
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas.
- Provide excellent service while interacting with tenants, property managers, and clients.
Schedule
- Full-time position (40 hours per week)
- Monday–Friday schedule with occasional overtime and on-call responsibilities as needed
