If you’re a responsible, reliable, and fun individual with the ability to manage kids ages 4 through 12, interested in keeping kids active and introducing them to the sport of climbing while managing risks, we want to hear from you!
We're hiring Youth Program Instructors at our Bainbridge Island location!
Responsibilities:
- Instruct youth programs including recreational after-school and weekend programs, birthday parties, and seasonal camps.
- Engage in youth behavior management and re-direction in a positive manner.
- Communicate effectively with kids, parents, co-workers, and gym members.
- Be a positive ambassador of Insight’s Youth Programs to the wider community.
- Additional hours available washing climbing holds.
Qualifications:
- Enjoys working with youth
- Prior experience working with youth desired (babysitting, mentoring, youth camps, youth sports, etc.).
- Good verbal communication skills
- Climbing experience is great, but not required!
Expected hours:
2-5 hours/week during school weeks, 10+ hours during school-break camp weeks
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.30 - $18.25 per hour
