Job Summary
We are seeking motivated and friendly Retail Customer Service Representatives to join our Exxon/Country Corners Market team. In this role, you will provide exceptional service to our customers while handling transactions efficiently in a fast paced environment. You will be part of ensuring great customer experience through effective communication and product knowledge.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the cash register.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while maintaining a balanced cash drawer.
- Restock shelves and maintain inventory levels to ensure product availability.
- Engage in upselling techniques to promote additional products and services.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area and store environment.
- Follow all safety procedures to always ensure a safe environment for staff and customers.
Skills
- Proven experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Experience working with lottery sales is an advantage .
- Supervisory skills are a plus for those interested in leading a team.
- Proficiency in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities.
- Competence in cash handling procedures with attention to detail in basic math calculations.
Physical Requirements
- Standing and walking up to 8 hours a shift.
- Squatting, bending, pushing, pulling, light lifting up to 25lbs.
