General Summary and Job Responsibilities
Part-time tutor position in an upbeat and energetic Tutoring Center. We are looking for an engaging, personable, and enthusiastic tutor! The instructor will support High School students in all subject areas including Math, Sciences, Paper Writing, Test Prep, Organization Support, and general Homework Support. We are looking for an instructor to assist with ACT test prep also. An energetic positive attitude is essential for empowering students.
The instructor will provide 1 on 1 or 2 to 1 ratio support for students in a private learning environment setting. 1-2 years of tutoring experience is requested.
Geometry, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I & II, Trigonometry, Pre-Calc (preferred but not required)
Chemistry, Biology, Earth Science, Physics
English, Paper Writing
Organization, Test Prep & Study Skills
ACT Test Prep Abilities Desired
Flexible schedule with evening after-school hours. Monday through Thursday. Hourly wages based on education level and experience.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred (Partial College/Currently Attending OK)
Work Experience
- High School level Math and Science tutoring: 1-2 years (Required)
- Knowledge of and ability to tutor the previously stated subjects: (Required)
