The Accounting Clerk is responsible for maintaining office filing, matching up check runs, contacting customers and vendors and other general clerical duties in assisting both the Accounts Payables and Receivables Specialist.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND PERFORMANCE MEASURES:
- Perform routine clerical accounting duties within a fast-paced finance department while adhering to established standards.
- Serve as a resource for the accounts payable and accounts receivable teams.
- Assist with year-end audit requests.
- Execute accurate reporting, filing, and database management in multiple systems.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or GED is required; Combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities will be considered.
- Skilled in accomplishing tasks in a team environment
- Skilled in managing one’s own time.
- Skilled in organizing and completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail.
- Skilled in general computer applications.
- Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
