Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced automotive diagnostics tools to identify issues accurately.
- Repair and maintain various vehicle systems including powertrain, transmission, suspension, steering, brakes, and electrical components.
- Conduct ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibrations and ensure proper functioning of safety features.
- Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot electrical problems effectively.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized automotive repair tools to complete repairs efficiently.
- Perform wheel alignments and vehicle suspension system repairs to ensure optimal handling and safety standards.
- Complete auto estimating tasks accurately for parts and labor, ensuring transparency with customers.
- Maintain detailed service records, adhere to safety protocols, and ensure quality control throughout all repair processes.
Qualifications
- Proven dealership or service shop experience as an automotive technician with a strong background in automotive repair.
- Proficiency in automotive diagnostics, schematics interpretation, and electrical system troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with vehicle transmission system repair, powertrain components, and vehicle maintenance procedures.
- Familiarity with ADAS calibration, vehicle alignment techniques, and suspension system repairs.
- Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by the ability to use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic software effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients.
- Ability to interpret automotive wiring diagrams accurately and work independently or as part of a team.
