This position is responsible for facilitating customer interactions through multiple communication channels, but predominantly inbound and outbound phone calls. The goal of the customer contact is to resolve unsecured obligations by collecting overdue payments. Using excellent communication skills, the associate establishes rapport and builds trust with customers and third parties, enabling them to establish, negotiate, and maintain repayment plans.

*Schedule: M - F: 8am-5pm (or 6pm) 3 nights, 12pm-9pm 2 nights
*Eligible to earn MONTHLY BONUSES based on performance
Responsibilities:
- Establish rapport with customers by building trust, showing empathy, and creating meaningful connections.
- Create and maintain a positive and professional customer experience that results in negotiated payment plans or suitable arrangements based on the customer’s financial situation.
- Achieve monthly performance goals, to include quality assurance and compliance expectations.
- Handle all customer inquiries (disputes, complaints, etc.) with care and prompt resolution.
- Update customer information, payment records, and any relevant notes in LiveVox and Interprose.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, as well as Federal and State laws (FDCPA, etc.)
- Attendance is an essential function of the job.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills/Abilities:
- Comfortable working in an open floor plan call center setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, paired with active listening.
- Ability to remain calm and effective in challenging situations.
- Multi-tasker with strong attention to detail.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Previous collections, customer service or sales experience, are preferred.
- Understanding of collections/legal requirements/recovery activities, is a plus.
- Experience using a computer, mouse, keyboard, and headset.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite; Outlook.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time, working on a computer in an office environment.
- Ability to use a computer, keyboard, and mouse with repetitive hand and wrist movements.
