Duties
- Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including specialty coffees, teas, and other drink service items with precision and flair
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions efficiently and accurately
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and responding to inquiries with enthusiasm
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area by performing routine cleaning tasks, food handling, and adhering to food safety standards
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately while processing cash transactions and giving correct change
- Serve food items and beverages promptly while ensuring quality standards are met throughout each order
- Support team members during busy periods by assisting with beverage preparation, serving, and overall station organization
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Barista or in food service is preferred; familiarity with café operations is a plus
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods, perform physical tasks such as cleaning, and work collaboratively with team members
