The Role
We are seeking energetic, detail-oriented Server Assistants / Expos who take pride in supporting an exceptional dining experience. This role is essential to the success of our service team by ensuring every guest receives timely, polished, and attentive service.
Behind every great dining experience is a team working together seamlessly. Our Server Assistants and Expos support servers, coordinate with the culinary team, maintain the flow of service, and ensure every dish leaving the kitchen meets Osteria Amici's standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Support servers by delivering food, maintaining tables, refilling beverages, and anticipating guest needs.
- Ensure food is accurately delivered with proper presentation and timing.
- Communicate effectively between the kitchen and front-of-house teams to maintain smooth service flow.
- Assist with table resets, cleanliness, and overall dining room organization.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient expo station.
- Help ensure every guest receives the high level of hospitality expected at Osteria Amici.
- Step into different responsibilities as needed to support the team and adapt to changing service demands.
- Manage the pass during service by organizing completed dishes, communicating timing with the culinary team, and ensuring food leaves the kitchen accurately and efficiently.
- Review every dish before it reaches the dining room, confirming presentation, accuracy, proper modifiers, and adherence to Osteria Amici's standards.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred.
- Strong work ethic with a positive, team-first attitude.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, upscale restaurant environment.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable, adaptable, and willing to assist wherever needed.
- Ability to roll with the punches, adjust to changing priorities, and remain professional during busy service periods.
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry throughout extended shifts.
- Indiana Employee Liquor Permit preferred or ability to obtain one if required for assigned duties.
Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
