We Like Perfectionists Who Move Fast
- Do you enjoy perfecting intricate details?
- Are you the type of person who likes to work hard and collaborate with others?
- Would you like a job that requires focus, efficiency, and ownership?
We're looking for a Form Builder II to join our team.
When you join our forms team, you're helping people all over America do their best work. Do you like handwriting forms? Nobody does, and our company eliminates the need for handwriting paperwork. In fact, we eliminate so much paperwork that we save 7 trees every day of the year. Now's your chance to help empower others to do their best by building forms that work perfectly every time.
The Work
A form builder takes a customer's document and turns it into an interactive, fillable and secure online form, so a user can fill it out online instead of hand-writing in the fields on paper. This is not a design job. The forms are sent to us and we convert them to work with our software.
The Form Builder II is a senior contributor on a small team, and people count on you. Once you're up to speed, your days look like this:
- Building 40 to 60 forms a day during active building periods, at full compliance with our standards
- Owning the form fix ticket queue and resolving assigned tickets within 24 hours
- Following up directly with customers to confirm their issues are actually fixed, not just closed
- Running special mapping projects from scoping through delivery
- Helping maintain our Quik! Field Definition library and keeping our documentation current
- Replying to customer tickets yourself, professionally and on time
- Training and mentoring entry-level form builders
- Owning a quarterly goal and driving it to completion
Roughly 60 to 80% of your time is building. The other 20 to 40% is fixes, customer ticket replies, field definition support, training, and goal work. It shifts with ticket volume and quarterly priorities.
Your First Six Months
You don't need form building experience. We'll train you.
Expect about six months to ramp up. You'll start by learning to build forms accurately, then build speed, then take on the ticket queue and customer communication. The mentoring and field definition work come once you've mastered the fundamentals and earned the team's trust. Nobody hands you a trainee in week one.
What we can't train is obsessive attention to detail, fast and accurate typing, and the kind of person who takes ownership without being asked. Bring those and we'll teach you the rest.
The Pay
We start you at $25 per hour and once you've shown your abilities and apply yourself, the sky is the limit in our company. Actually, you could be making more very soon. It just depends on you. Prove yourself to be an asset to our team, and you'll find unlimited opportunity and reward.
What You Bring
- Excellent written and verbal English communication
- 70+ WPM typing with strong accuracy
- The discipline to stay productive without someone looking over your shoulder
- A professional, distraction-minimized workspace with reliable internet and power
- Availability for video calls throughout your scheduled working hours, camera on as required
What We Provide
All equipment is provided, including your camera. You bring the workspace, the internet, and the reliable power. You will receive a monthly stipend for phone and internet. We handle the hardware.
How To Get This Job
First you need to pass a typing test. You must type at least 70 WPM with strong accuracy. Then all you have to do is be the best cultural fit for our company AND prove your ability to do the job.
To be the best cultural fit, we want to feel like you are our long-lost friend that always belonged here. Do your research and find out what it takes to be part of our company. Then, to prove your ability to do the job, show us your attention to detail somehow. Be creative… we'll train you on form building, but you have to first show us that you really read this job ad and applied yourself to winning the job.
Interviews are on camera. If you aren't willing to turn your camera on for the interview, this isn't the job for you. You will also need a computer during your interview to complete the typing test.
Follow These Rules
