Sign Connection is a full-service architectural sign company based in Gastonia, NC. From planning to fabrication to installation, Sign Connection specializes in creating signage that portrays a professional image for businesses.
We are seeking an experienced sign fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on safety, accuracy and craftsmanship.
Required Skills
- Attention to detail and quality
- Ability to read and understand shop drawings and production prints
- Basic electrical wiring for illuminated signs
- Ability to lift 50-75lbs and work on your feet throughout the day
- Knowledge of sign materials - Vinyl, aluminum, acrylic and ACM
- Proficient with hand and power tools
- Welding experience is a plus
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Willingness to learn new fabrication methods
Responsibilities
- Our fabricators create high-quality signage using various tools and equipment
- Perform electrical wiring and LED installation for illuminated signs, as needed
- Record materials used and time spent on projects
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Follow safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
- Communicates clearly with shop/production manager
