Silicon Valley Eye Physicians is seeking a dedicated Optometric Receptionist to be the warm, smiling face of our front desk. We are closed weekends and most holidays! In this full-time role, you will keep our practice running smoothly while making a positive impact on our patients' lives every single day.
What Your Day Will Look Like
- Welcome with a Smile: Greet patients and visitors with genuine warmth and professionalism.
- Be the Voice: Answer phone calls cheerfully and direct inquiries to the right team members.
- Keep Us on Track: Schedule patient appointments and follow-up visits efficiently.
- Navigate the Details: Verify insurance details and assist with basic billing questions.
- Stay Organized: Maintain electronic medical records accurately and handle check-ins/check-outs.
- Team Support: Lend a hand with various administrative tasks to support our medical staff.
Who You Are
- People Person First: Exceptional interpersonal skills are your superpower. You are naturally friendly, upbeat, and compassionate.
- Experienced Maker: Previous experience in a medical or optometric receptionist role is highly preferred.
- Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with standard office equipment and phone systems. Experience with Eyefinity software is a major bonus!
- Master Multitasker: Ability to prioritize duties and stay calm and focused in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in Care: Strong communication skills and a basic understanding of eye care terminology is a HUGE PLUS!
