We are seeking an individual to perform routine duties in cleaning and servicing of guest rooms. This room attendant promotes a positive image of the property to guests and must be pleasant, honest, friendly and should also able to address guest requests and problems while maintaining expected duties and responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Replaces sheets and towels
- Dusts room and furniture
- Replenishes guestroom and bath supplies
- Sanitizes and details bathroom
- Cleans closet
- Vacuums the carpet/ mop the laminate floor
- Checks and secures the room
- Replenishes amenities according to operational standards
- Deliver and retrieve items on loan to guests (e.g. iron and ironing boards, etc)
- Ensure security of guest rooms and privacy of guests
- Perform rotation deep cleaning duties as required
- Cleans floor corridor
- Doing laundry work as required
- Responsible for the cleanliness and tidiness of work area
- Attends to guest calls, requests, and complaints as needed
- Authorized to enter guest rooms for cleaning and providing turndown services as needed
- Responsible for following hotel standard operating procedures
- Maintain all cleaning equipment and materials in a safe and sanitary working condition
Physical requirements
- Consistent standing and walking throughout shift
- Occasional lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs
- Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
- Daily ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
Qualifications
- Physical mobility and stamina required
- Ability to follow instructions
- Detail oriented and able to work independently
- Professional attitude is required
Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous hotel experience desired
