About the Role
BloomNet is seeking a driven and relationship-focused Account Relationship Manager to manage and grow relationships with florist partners throughout Upstate New York and Western Pennsylvania, including the Pittsburgh market.
This is a remote, field-based Account Relationship Manager position that requires frequent travel throughout the assigned territory. You will serve as a trusted business advisor to your customers, helping florist partners identify opportunities to grow their businesses, maximize the value of BloomNet’s products and services, and build long-term partnerships.
The ideal candidate is an experienced outside sales or account management professional who enjoys building relationships, managing a geographic territory, and working independently in the field.
What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with florist partners throughout the assigned Upstate New York and Western Pennsylvania territory.
- Conduct regular in-person and virtual customer meetings to understand business needs, provide consultative solutions, and increase engagement with BloomNet products, services, and programs.
- Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, relationship development, consultative selling, negotiation, contract execution, and ongoing customer follow-up.
- Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts, increase customer retention, drive program adoption, and generate incremental revenue within the territory.
- Develop and execute an effective territory management strategy, including customer visits, travel planning, pipeline management, and structured follow-up.
- Utilize Salesforce to maintain accurate customer information, manage sales opportunities, document account activity, track performance, and maintain visibility into the sales pipeline.
- Partner with Marketing, Customer Service, Product, and other internal teams while representing BloomNet at customer visits, industry events, trade shows, and other market activities.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
- 2–3 years of experience in outside sales, territory sales, account management, business development, or a similar customer-facing role.
- Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding sales goals, growing customer relationships, and identifying new business opportunities.
- Strong consultative selling, relationship-building, negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to independently manage a large geographic territory, prioritize customer needs, maintain consistent follow-up, and travel up to 75% of the time.
- Strong technical aptitude with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience using CRM platforms; Salesforce experience is strongly preferred.
- Bilingual Spanish skills are strongly preferred, along with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Compensation
The expected salary range for this position is $55,000–$70,000 annually, plus performance-based incentives. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors.
This is a remote, field-based position requiring up to 75% travel throughout Upstate New York and Western Pennsylvania. Candidates must reside within or near the assigned territory and have reliable transportation.
