We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Program Lead & Solution Architect - IBM Maximo to lead large-scale enterprise asset management transformations for our clients.
The Lead Program & Solution Architect will be responsible for defining enterprise-wide asset management strategies, architecting complex IBM Maximo and MAS solutions, driving digital transformation initiatives, leading client engagements, and supporting business development activities. This role requires a proven leader who can bridge business and technology, develop solution blueprints, lead multidisciplinary teams, and deliver strategic outcomes for global clients.
The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise across the IBM Maximo ecosystem, enterprise integrations, cloud and infrastructure architecture, mobile solutions, analytics, IoT, and operational excellence. The expectation is not only deep Maximo architecture expertise but also ownership of large transformation programs, delivery governance, and business outcomes.
Lead the architecture, design, implementation, and support of IBM Maximo 7.6.x and Maximo Application Suite (MAS) solutions.
Serve as the technical lead for Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), application architecture, integrations, data management, and cloud deployments.
Partner with business stakeholders, project teams, and technical resources to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.
Design and maintain solutions supporting asset management, work management, inventory, procurement, maintenance, and operational business processes.
Define and implement data governance, master data management, and data quality standards across Maximo and integrated systems.
Lead data migration, conversion, validation, and reconciliation activities for implementations, upgrades, and modernization programs.
Architect and oversee enterprise integrations between Maximo and ERP, GIS, HR, financial, IoT, and other business systems.
Ensure solution performance, availability, security, scalability, and compliance with enterprise standards.
Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to architects, developers, administrators, analysts, and support teams.
Conduct architecture reviews, design workshops, and governance sessions to promote best practices and solution quality.
Act as a trusted advisor to business and technology leaders, helping align Maximo solutions with strategic business objectives.
Communicate effectively with executive, business, and technical stakeholders and manage client expectations throughout project delivery.
Lead large-scale EAM transformation programs, managing scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, and quality.
Establish project governance, executive reporting, and delivery frameworks to ensure successful program execution.
Develop project plans, resource plans, delivery roadmaps, and dependency management strategies.
Support project estimation, budgeting, financial tracking, and overall delivery management.
Oversee project health, milestone reviews, issue resolution, risk mitigation, and escalation management.
Lead change management, training, user adoption, deployment, and transition-to-support activities.
Define and track KPIs and business value metrics to measure program success.
Manage Statements of Work (SOW), change requests, vendor relationships, and contractual deliverables.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, cybersecurity requirements, validation standards, and audit controls.
Drive PMO best practices, resource planning, and continuous improvement across EAM programs and projects.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline.
Minimum 10+ years of experience in IBM Maximo with at least 5 years in Solution Architecture leadership roles.
Proven experience delivering large-scale IBM Maximo implementations across multiple industries.
Project Management Professional (PMP)
PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
Proven experience leading programs valued at $5M+ with multiple workstreams and cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated success delivering IBM Maximo/MAS implementations, upgrades, cloud migrations, and enterprise integration programs on time and within budget.
Strong executive stakeholder management with the ability to communicate complex technical and business concepts to senior leadership.
Experience managing geographically dispersed teams of architects, developers, functional consultants, integration specialists, and support personnel.
Proven track record of driving customer satisfaction, delivery excellence, and account growth through successful project execution
The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $53.16/hour - $83.07/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
