The project civil/structural engineer is a position for a person who has recently become licensed or is ready to take their licensing exams and is taking on more project responsibility. Serves on project teams as a capable and efficient Project Engineer, often making major design determinations under the general direction of the Project Manager.
This is an in-person position with the potential to work from home up to 2 days a week, after a 90-day training period.
TYPICAL DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Is assigned to project teams and works under supervision of a project manager.
- Performs calculations.
- Prepares engineering drawings.
- Prepares reports, opinions, and recommendations for final review by the Project Manager concerning the direction of the project.
- May serve as field staff during construction.
- May have other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS / SKILLS
Education and Professional Experience
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering with 5-8 years of experience.
- Associates with 9-12 years of experience.
- Professional engineering license preferred.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Proficiency in Revit and/or Civil 3D.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams).
Personal Skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management.
- Ability to prioritize and maintain organization in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines.

Other Job Requirements
- A valid driver’s license.
- A vehicle to access project sites primarily in Windham, Cheshire, and Franklin County.
- Ability to walk on uneven ground of active construction sites.
- Ability to carry up to 25lbs.
EXPECTED SALARY
$75,000 – $85,000 annually, plus benefits.
