Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting pharmacists in various pharmacy settings.
Duties:
- Prepare medications under the supervision of a pharmacist
- Assist in maintaining pharmacy inventory and records
- Process prescription orders accurately and efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare providers
- Utilize medical terminology and knowledge of pharmaceutical calculations
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Adhere to aseptic techniques when compounding medications
- Assist with IV infusion preparation and administration
- Support acute care, critical care, and hospital pharmacy operations
Requirements:
- Certification or licensure as a Pharmacy Technician
- Proficiency in pharmacy software systems
- Knowledge of medical terminology and patient care practices
- Experience in pharmacy settings, particularly in acute care or hospital environments
- Familiarity with IV infusion procedures and aseptic techniques
