Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in housekeeping management and industrial cleaning, ensuring that all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. This role is essential in providing a welcoming environment for guests and maintaining the overall appearance of our facilities.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities according to established standards.
- Manage housekeeping supplies and inventory, ensuring that all necessary materials are available for daily operations.
- Conduct floor care duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces.
- Maintain custodial responsibilities by cleaning restrooms, hallways, and other public spaces.
- Collaborate with the hospitality team to ensure guest satisfaction and address any special requests or needs.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness in accordance with hotel policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in housekeeping management or a similar role within the hospitality or hotel industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and custodial practices.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and order.
- Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor towards guests and colleagues.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, lifting, and bending for extended periods.
