Job Purpose: Pinnacle Pools & Spas is seeking a motivated Pool Design & Sales Trainee who wants to build a long-term career in the swimming pool industry.
This is a paid training position designed to develop the right candidate into a Pool Design Consultant. You'll work alongside experienced team members learning pool design, estimating, construction, and customer consultations while preparing for a long-term career in sales.
This position includes both office work and field work. You'll spend time in customer homes, construction sites, and our office learning every aspect of the business.
No pool industry experience is required—we'll teach you the business. You'll help homeowners design custom fiberglass swimming pools ranging from approximately $70,000 to $250,000+, making each project unique.
This position is ideal for someone interested in construction, design, architecture, landscaping, engineering, project management, or professional sales.
Primary Responsibilities
As a Pool Design & Sales Trainee, you will:
- Ride along to customer appointments with senior sales staff.
- Take detailed notes during consultations.
- Learn how to measure residential backyards.
- Assist with preparing pool designs and layouts.
- Help create pricing proposals and bid sheets.
- Prepare contracts and customer paperwork.
- Learn fiberglass pool construction methods and equipment.
- Assist with permit and drawing preparation.
- Follow up with customers after appointments.
- Answer incoming customer calls and basic questions.
- Coordinate with construction and office staff.
- Attend weekly sales and construction meetings.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and customer files.

Compensation
- $18.00–$25.00 per hour

Schedule
- Monday–Friday
- 35–45 hours per week
- Occasional evenings for customer consultations
- Occasional Saturdays during peak season
