Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols and standards.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Provide education on patient's needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for effective care after discharge and continuity of care.
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy to educate patients about their conditions and treatment options.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Support the training of new nursing staff and provide mentorship as needed.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Experience in Home Health.
- Familiarity with Durable Medical Equipment.
- Knowledge of different techniques is essential.
- Strong understanding of patient's needs relevant to patient care.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
