Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Self-Storage Relief Manager to oversee a storage facility 2 days a week in the Kirkland area. This role involves managing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining property standards. The Relief Manager plays a crucial part in supporting property managers, resolving tenant issues, and handling the daily operations of a self-storage facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, property management experience helpful, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This position offers an engaging opportunity to contribute to the efficient operation of our self-storage facility while developing valuable leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide temporary management coverage for storage facility ensuring smooth daily operations in the absence of site managers
- Assist with leasing activities, including lease or rental agreement management and client communication
- Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, and in person with professionalism and courtesy
- Support property maintenance coordination to ensure facility is clean, safe, and well-maintained
- Manage administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and updating tenant records using property management software such as SiteLink, StorEdge or similar self-storage software helpful
- Promote upselling of additional services or unit upgrades to enhance revenue
Skills
- Proven experience helpful with property management software such as SiteLink, StorEdge, or similar
- Experience helpful working within property management companies or real estate administrative roles
- Excellent customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette
- Strong organizational skills for data entry, filing, and record keeping
- Experience helpful in lease or rental agreement management and contract review
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
