This is a commission-only role with a competitive, uncapped commission structure. We sell premium products with serious ticket sizes — fencing averages $14,500 and window replacements average $25,000 — so every close counts. First-year reps typically earn at least $10,000/month, and our high performers are doing $20,000+/month.
No cold calling. No prospecting. Our dedicated setting team books your appointments. You show up at the homeowner's door ready to sell. You run 2–4 pre-set, in-home appointments per day and close the deal.
What You'll Do
- Run 2–4 pre-set in-home sales appointments per day (leads provided by our setting team)
- Present Gorilla Works and our products professionally and build instant trust with homeowners
- Sell fencing to start, with a clear path to graduate into higher-ticket window sales as you prove yourself
- Maintain a minimum 20% close rate, with a monthly target of 30%
- Document every sale accurately and completely — no missing details, no loose ends
- Track and manage your own follow-ups, and proactively reach back out to close pending deals
- Show up on time to every single appointment and manage your daily schedule efficiently
- Deliver an excellent customer experience from first handshake to signed agreement
- Most appointments are in the Portland area, with travel up to 150 miles from Portland required as needed
What We're Looking For
- Proven sales experience in home improvement, construction, or a related in-home/outside sales field
- A minimum 20% close rate (a proven 25%+ close rate strongly preferred)
- Solid knowledge of construction / home improvement so you can speak the customer's language
- Extreme attention to detail — you document everything properly and nothing slips through the cracks
- Excellent time management — you're punctual, organized, and run a tight schedule
- Strong follow-up discipline — you track your own pipeline and chase down every opportunity
- A polished, professional presence that represents our brand well
- Excellent customer service and people skills
- Highly self-motivated and driven to actively sharpen your craft — you're always learning, improving, and pushing your sales skills to the next level
- Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and clean driving record
- Smartphone and willingness to travel within the service area
