Vitale Ready Mix has been building Central New York since 1979. As a family-owned company, we're proud to operate six ready-mix concrete plants, multiple aggregate operations, a concrete pumping division, roll-off services, and a large fleet of trucks and heavy equipment.
We're looking for a motivated, organized Parts Room Associate to help keep our maintenance operations running efficiently. In this role, you'll work closely with our Parts Manager and maintenance team to ensure mechanics have the parts they need to keep our fleet operating safely and reliably.

What You'll Do
As a Parts Room Associate, you'll play an important role in supporting our maintenance team by:
- Ordering and sourcing heavy equipment, truck, and fleet parts
- Researching part numbers and pricing from multiple vendors
- Maintaining accurate inventory levels
- Receiving, stocking, and organizing incoming parts
- Distributing parts to mechanics in Auburn and our other shop locations
- Tracking backorders and expediting critical parts
- Processing vendor returns and credits
- Building strong relationships with suppliers and vendors
- Assisting with inventory counts and inventory control
- Working with Fleetio to help manage inventory and maintenance records
- Supporting the Parts Manager and maintenance department with additional projects as needed
What We're Looking For
Preferred qualifications include:
- Inventory management or warehouse experience
- Purchasing or parts department experience
- Heavy truck, diesel, automotive, or construction equipment knowledge preferred
- Experience with Fleetio is a plus, but we'll train the right candidate
- Strong computer and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Excellent communication skills
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
