We're representing an established commercial construction management firm that has been in business for generations and has built a substantial regional operation through repeat clients and long-term relationships.
Their work covers a broad range of commercial construction, including office, retail, industrial, warehouse, multifamily, medical, and other commercial facilities.
They're looking for a Project Manager who can take ownership of several projects and work closely with clients, design professionals, subcontractors, and field leadership from the early stages of a project through completion.
What You'll Do
· Manage several commercial construction projects and keep each one moving toward completion.
· Work with clients and design teams to establish project requirements and priorities.
· Coordinate estimating, preconstruction, scheduling, procurement, and subcontractor selection.
· Develop project budgets and monitor costs throughout construction.
· Review scopes and subcontractor proposals and help negotiate agreements.
· Manage changes, billing, forecasts, and overall project financial performance.
· Coordinate project information between the client, design team, subcontractors, and field staff.
· Work closely with Superintendents to keep schedule, quality, and project requirements on track.
· Resolve issues as they arise and keep clients informed.
· Lead projects through final completion and turnover.
What We're Looking For
· 5+ years of Project Management experience with a commercial General Contractor
· Experience managing multiple commercial projects.
· Strong understanding of construction budgets, schedules, contracts, subcontractors, and project financials.
· Experience with estimating and preconstruction.
· Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
· Construction management, engineering, or related degree preferred.
· Experience with construction management software and Microsoft Office.
