Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and providing therapeutic intervention for children and/or adults with communication and swallowing disorders. You will work collaboratively with families, educators, and healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans that promote effective communication and enhance the quality of life for your patients.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostic evaluations on children, adolescents, and adults as well as analyze, interpret, and document evaluation results.
- Develop patient care plans with short and long-term goals.
- Plan and provide therapeutic intervention tailored to the patient’s needs and goals.
- Perform routine documentation of patient performance, adjust goals and plan of care as needed, and determine discharge care plans when appropriate.
- Maintain all records in compliance with regulations, reimbursement requirements, and job responsibilities.
- Provide family education and training to assist in carryover of skills into the patient's daily living environment.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers and educators to provide holistic care for the patient.
- Make appropriate referrals for additional services.
- Maintain compliance with state and federal policies, and ASHA.
- Participate in in-services and/or parent education training programs.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to speech-language pathology.
- Experience working with adult and/or pediatric populations is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to assess patient needs effectively and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Familiarity with various therapeutic techniques and tools used in speech therapy.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry advancements.

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
