Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Pediatrician to join our team in El Centro, California. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive medical care to infants, children, and adolescents, including preventive care, diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine well-child examinations and developmental screenings.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic pediatric illnesses.
- Provide preventive care, immunizations, and health education to patients and families.
- Monitor growth and development and address behavioral or developmental concerns.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
- Collaborate with specialists, healthcare providers, and support staff to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Follow evidence-based clinical guidelines and maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient care programs.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics.
- Active California medical license (or ability to obtain one).
- DEA registration (or ability to obtain).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to providing compassionate, family-centered care.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required.
- Experience working in underserved or rural communities is a plus.
