Mann Law Group is a growing, client-focused and full service immigration law firm seeking a full-time Associate Immigration Attorney to join our team. This position is ideal for a motivated attorney with strong advocacy and writing skills as well as experience in immigration law or other relevant legal practice areas, who is passionate about making a meaningful impact in the lives of our clients. Compensation is negotiable based on demonstrated skills and experience.
Responsibilities:
- Attend hearings in Immigration Court including Individual Hearings
- Handle client interviews at USCIS, ICE, and other agencies
- Conduct jail visits
- Prepare clients for hearings
- Review applications
- Communicate effectively with the client at any stage of the process
- Draft motions and briefs as needed
- Enter notes into web-based case management system
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
- J.D. and active bar license (any U.S. jurisdiction)
- 2 years of Immigration or related legal experience strongly preferred
- Fluency in the Spanish language preferred
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with an emphasis on teamwork
- Highly organized with the ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities
