We are seeking a passionate and energetic Toddler Teacher to inspire and nurture the youngest learners in our early childhood education program. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that incorporate early childhood education principles, including literacy, math, physical education, and social skills.
- Create a safe, nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration, independence, and positive behavior management.
- Engage children in hands-on activities that promote cognitive development, fine motor skills, and emotional regulation.
- Monitor each child's progress through observation and documentation to tailor instruction and support their individual needs.
- Foster effective communication with children to promote language development and social interaction.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan classroom activities, organize lesson plans, and ensure compliance with educational standards.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, developmental milestones, and behavioral notes in accordance with licensing requirements.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with toddlers or preschool-aged children in a daycare or early childhood education setting.
- Knowledge of childhood development theories, classroom management techniques, and behavior management strategies.
- 12 ECE + infant toddler class for a total of 15 units minimum
- Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and implementing literacy education alongside other core subjects like math and physical education.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.
- Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields preferred; Montessori or special education experience is a plus.
- Ability to create an inclusive environment supporting child welfare and developmental diversity.
- Passion for working with young children and commitment to fostering a positive learning atmosphere aligned with best practices in early intervention and childcare standards.
Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
