Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced AI Delivery Lead to manage enterprise-scale AI/ML and data analytics initiatives for a large public sector organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong project/program management expertise combined with hands-on experience leading AI transformation initiatives across cross-functional teams.
The candidate will be responsible for delivering complex technology programs using Agile and Waterfall methodologies while ensuring alignment with business objectives, governance standards, timelines, and budgets.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of AI/ML and data analytics projects
- Manage project plans, timelines, risks, budgets, and stakeholder communications
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, architecture, QA, operations, and business stakeholders
- Drive Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies
- Manage AI/ML lifecycle activities including data pipelines, model deployment, monitoring, and optimization
- Oversee cloud-based AI initiatives using Azure or AWS platforms
- Review technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and API specifications
- Ensure compliance with enterprise governance, security, and data standards
- Utilize tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, and Clarity PPM for project execution and reporting
- Present project updates and delivery status to leadership and executive stakeholders
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of enterprise project/program management experience
- Experience managing projects with budgets exceeding $1M
- 2+ years managing AI/ML and data analytics projects
- Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, model lifecycle, and data pipelines
- 5+ years leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple concurrent projects
- Strong experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and MS Project
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, or related field
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Azure or AWS AI services
- Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance
- Experience creating/reviewing AI technical documentation and API manuals
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Pay: $70.00 - $95.00 per hour
