Full-time or Part-time | Flexible Schedule Available
Shetler Moving & Storage is a trusted, family-owned moving company with over 125 years of history in the Evansville area. We are launching a new Senior Transitions division to help local seniors and their families with downsizing, decluttering, and relocating — and we need the right person to help build and deliver it.
This is a dual role. You will both sell the service and deliver the hands-on work with clients.
What You’ll Do
Sales & Business Development
- Proactively introduce our Senior Transitions services to senior living communities, realtors, elder law attorneys, care managers, and other referral partners
- Conduct consultations and turn them into booked projects
- Build and maintain a local referral network
- Represent the division in the Evansville market
Client Delivery
- Lead in-home consultations with seniors and their families
- Guide clients through the sorting and downsizing process with patience and care
- Coordinate the full transition (packing, move with our crews, resettling, and handoff of items to our auction partner)
- Serve as the main point of contact for families throughout the project
Who We’re Looking For
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Genuine patience and empathy when working with older adults
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortable selling a service and generating new opportunities
- Reliable, professional, and trustworthy (background check required)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Prior experience in professional organizing, senior care, real estate, home services, customer service, or sales is a plus (not required)
