Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care and a comprehensive understanding of physiology. This role involves working with patients across various settings, including outpatient clinics, home health, schools, acute care facilities, and geriatrics. Responsibilities
- Assess patients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans based on their specific conditions and goals.
- Implement therapeutic interventions to enhance patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support for patients.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and techniques to promote recovery and prevent further injury.
- Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Provide support in various settings including outpatient clinics, home health environments, schools, acute care facilities, and geriatrics.
- Stay updated with the latest practices in occupational therapy to provide the best possible care.
Requirements
- A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure or certification as required by local regulations.
- Strong knowledge of physiology and its application in patient care.
- Experience or familiarity with speech therapy techniques is a plus.
- Previous experience working with geriatrics or in home health settings is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in outpatient clinics, schools, acute care environments, or ICU settings is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Pay: $46.38 - $50.31 per hour
