Position Summary
The Lead BCBA provides clinical leadership while delivering high-quality, evidence-based ABA services to children and their families. This role includes conducting behavioral assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, supervising Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), providing parent and caregiver training, collaborating with interdisciplinary professionals, and mentoring future clinicians.
Administrative responsibilities, including documentation, treatment planning, telehealth parent training, and virtual meetings, may be completed remotely. In-person clinical services will be provided based on client and clinical needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs).
- Develop, implement, and oversee individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
- Supervise Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) in accordance with BACB guidelines.
- Analyze treatment data and make evidence-based clinical decisions.
- Provide parent and caregiver training.
- Collaborate with families, physicians, schools, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain timely, accurate, and HIPAA-compliant clinical documentation.
- Support insurance authorizations and treatment recommendations.
- Mentor and support clinical team members.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the continued development of Eden ABA Therapy's clinical programs.
QualificationsRequired Qualifications
- Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing.
- Virginia Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) or eligible to obtain Virginia licensure.
- Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
- Experience supervising Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Commitment to ethical, compassionate, family-centered, and evidence-based care.
