We're looking for a friendly and clinically talented general dentist to join our small, LGBT/woman-led team. Candidates should be incredible communicators, dedicated to their growth as clinicians, and detail oriented.
Must haves:
* At least 2 years of private practice experience out of residency
* Proof of recent CE, either in person or remote, and the required coursework for NY State (Infection Control, Child Abuse, BLS)
* Valid Dental License and malpractice insurance
* Flexible availability, with some weekend availability too
* A great personality that meshes with our vibrant and helpful team. You must be a good communicator, calm, and thorough. The office has a compassionate and easy-going vibe with our patients, but our clinical standards are very high and you will be expected to adhere to them.
You must be able to:
- Complete dental and head/neck exams that are thorough, and follow our protocol for efficient and complete note taking
- Perform dental procedures including beautiful composite restorations, crowns and onlays/inlays, straight-forward extractions (no third molars here), iTero scans, orthodontic and esthetic consultations, etc.
- Utilize OpenDental software and take meticulous notes with our templates
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants in a four-handed dentistry environment
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies
- Ultimately work well with others, be open to advice and clinical growth, and come to work excited for the day :)
On paper:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
- CE and three years of experience, as outlined above
