Are you a pharmacist who enjoys leading teams, improving operations, and making a meaningful impact? Legends Pharmacy is seeking an experienced Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to lead our closed-door long-term care pharmacy in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Unlike retail pharmacy, our focus is on providing exceptional pharmacy services to long-term care communities through collaboration, accuracy, and operational excellence. As the PIC, you'll play a key role in building a strong team, maintaining regulatory compliance, and driving continuous improvement across pharmacy operations.

Schedule
- Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Remote on-call rotation with occasional in-person response as operationally needed
- As the pharmacy continues to grow, Saturday operations may be added in the future
- In-person position based in Albuquerque, New Mexico
Key Responsibilities
As the Pharmacist-in-Charge, you will:
- Lead the daily operations of the pharmacy
- Supervise, mentor, and develop pharmacists, technicians, and support staff
- Ensure compliance with New Mexico Board of Pharmacy, DEA, state, and federal regulations
- Verify prescriptions for accuracy, safety, and appropriateness
- Oversee inventory management, controlled substances, and quality assurance programs
- Develop and improve pharmacy workflows and operational efficiency
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and facility partners to ensure exceptional patient care
- Maintain pharmacy policies, procedures, licensing, and regulatory compliance
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Active New Mexico Pharmacist License (required)
- Bachelor of Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
- Previous PIC or pharmacy leadership experience preferred
- Long-term care, institutional, hospital, or other high-volume pharmacy experience preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Compensation & Benefits
- $100,000–$150,000 annually, based on experience
