Shift: 1st Shift, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday

Job Summary:
Fulton County Health Center is seeking a customer-focused and technology-driven Help Desk Technician to join our Information Systems team. As the first point of contact for technical support, this role provides assistance with hardware, software, networking, and computer-related issues across the organization. The Help Desk Technician plays a key role in ensuring employees have the technology support they need to deliver exceptional patient care and service.
Key Responsibilities:

Respond to help desk requests via phone, email, voicemail, and in-person support.

Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and basic networking issues.

Document support requests and maintain accurate help desk records.

Prioritize incoming issues to ensure timely and effective resolution.

Escalate complex technical problems to appropriate team members.

Assist with tracking software licenses, hardware inventory, and archive media.

Utilize help desk management tools to monitor and manage support requests.

Prepare reports related to help desk activity, system downtime, and service metrics.

Collaborate with users and department leaders to identify technology needs and solutions.

Provide software and hardware training to employees as needed.

Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying trends and recommending process enhancements.

Assist other Information Systems team members and provide backup support when necessary.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.

Previous help desk, IT support, or technical support experience preferred.

Working knowledge of computer hardware, software, and basic networking concepts.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and common business applications.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to learn new technologies and software systems quickly.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
