Warehouse Associate

Position Summary
Our client is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented
Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and material handling. This role is responsible for ensuring the accurate staging, loading, unloading, and movement of finished goods and raw materials while maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting quality standards. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the staging, loading, unloading, shipping, and receiving of finished products and raw materials.
- Maintain accurate warehouse inventory through routine cycle counts and inventory control processes.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Prepare, package, and process shipments while ensuring shipping documentation is accurate and complete.
- Assist with receiving incoming materials and placing inventory in the appropriate warehouse locations.
- Support light assembly activities as needed.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse environment.
- Utilize Microsoft Office applications and warehouse/shipping systems to process inventory and shipping transactions.
- Follow company safety policies, quality standards, and operational procedures.
- Perform additional warehouse-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required.
- 3-5 years of warehouse, shipping, and receiving experience preferred.
- Previous forklift operating experience required.
- Experience with freight or shipping booking software preferred.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and perform repetitive movements throughout the workday.
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment for extended periods while maintaining productivity and safety standards.
