We are seeking an experienced and motivated Plant Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations and lead production teams to achieve safety, quality, and productivity goals. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily plant operations, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and deadlines are met
- Lead, coach, and develop production team members to maximize performance and engagement
- Monitor workflow, staffing, and equipment to ensure efficient operations
- Enforce all safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment
- Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and management teams to resolve production issues
- Analyze production data and identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reduction, and waste elimination
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Conduct regular team meetings and communicate expectations clearly
- Assist with scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
Additional Duties
- Monitor equipment performance and coordinate repairs as needed
- Maintain accurate production records and reports
- Support new process implementation and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained throughout the plant
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
What We’re Looking For Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or plant supervision role
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Proficiency with basic computer systems and production reporting
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices (preferred)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to walk, stand, and move throughout the plant for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
