Salt & Straw is seeking an experienced District Manager to lead seven shop locations across our Seattle market. This multi-unit leadership role is responsible for developing General Managers, driving operational excellence, building high-performing teams, and delivering exceptional guest experiences while achieving strong business results.

As a District Manager, you'll coach and develop General Managers, strengthen operations, support continued growth, and build a culture where both team members and guests thrive.

Lead, coach, and support General Managers across the district, helping them grow as leaders and operators

Build strong, engaged teams rooted in trust, accountability, and human kindness

Oversee daily multi-unit operations across seven shop locations, ensuring excellence in hospitality, cleanliness, food safety, and execution

Drive district performance through sales growth, labor management, profitability, and operational excellence

Use data and business insights to improve financial performance, guest experience, and team engagement

Partner cross-functionally with People Operations, Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams to support shop success

Navigate challenges with thoughtfulness and adaptability while celebrating wins along the way

Support hiring, leadership development, retention, and succession planning across the district

Strengthen community presence and help Salt & Straw show up generously within local neighborhoods

Travel regularly between shops to stay connected to teams and operations

Have 5+ years of multi-unit leadership experience in retail, hospitality, food service, or another guest-focused business

Have successfully led multiple locations while coaching and developing General Managers or Store Managers

Know how to build engaged teams while holding leaders accountable for operational excellence

Have experience managing sales, labor, profitability, and overall business performance across multiple locations

Thrive in fast-paced, customer-focused environments with a hands-on leadership approach

Enjoy balancing strategic thinking with regular time in your shops supporting teams

Are comfortable traveling regularly between shop locations throughout the Seattle market

We are actively embracing pay transparency. The salary range for this role is $106,250–$143,750 annually, which reflects the full earning potential for District Managers within this market.
Most new hires can expect to start within our target hiring range of $106,250–$125,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and alignment with the role.
This position is also eligible for quarterly performance bonus opportunities tied to operational and financial goals.
