Duties
- Prepare concrete surfaces by cleaning, grinding, and repairing to ensure optimal adhesion of epoxy coatings
- Mix and apply epoxy resins accurately according to project specifications and safety guidelines
- Use hand tools and power tools to install flooring components
- Read floor plans to execute precise installations aligned with design requirements
- Conduct site assessments to evaluate water damage restoration needs or floor care maintenance before applying epoxy finishes
- Ensure proper curing and finishing of epoxy floors through buffing, polishing, or additional coating applications
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, disposing of waste properly, and adhering to safety protocols at all times
Skills
- Extensive experience in flooring installation and concrete finishing techniques
- Proficiency with hand tools such as scrapers, grinders, and trowels; familiarity with power tools including drills and sanders
- Background in construction site experience
- Knowledge of the use of buffing equipment for surface finishing; familiarity with schematics for detailed project execution
- Handyman experience is advantageous for troubleshooting on-site issues efficiently
