Full-time position to work Monday – Friday, business hours with flexibility for an occasional need to work night/evening or Saturday shifts.
We are seeking an Automotive Detailer to become a part of our Hastings Automotive (Hastings Ford) team!
Core Responsibilities and Duties:
- Inspects the vehicle for any noticeable scratches, dents or defects
- Thoroughly washes the exterior and interior of the vehicle using appropriate cleaning solutions
- Uses wax and polish to enhance the vehicle’s shine and to protect the paint
- Cleans and vacuums the interior of the vehicle, ensuring no area is overlooked
- Revitalizes rugs and upholstery, and painted surfaces. Uses touch-up paint, dyes, and other appropriate materials
- Applies fabric protectants to interior surfaces to defend against spills and stains
- Uses pressure washers and other specialized equipment to clean hard-to-reach areas
- Ensures windows and windshields are thoroughly cleaned and streak-free
- Documents all cleaning and maintenance activities
- Coordinates with management for any additional cleaning or repair services required
- Applies dressing on tires and tire wells
- Complies with all company safety policies and procedures. Use proper eye, hand, and body protection when using products that require protection
- Maintains cleanliness of work area
Compensation & Benefits:
The hourly wage for this opportunity is $17.00/hour to $20.00/hour. Pay is dependent on several factors including relevant work experience, certifications, buffing, and wet sanding experience etc. Hourly pay is just one part of the compensation package for employees.
