POSITION: Grayling High School Classroom Paraprofessional
DESCRIPTION: Full time paraprofessional to work with Viking Vision Career Academic (VVCA) classroom teacher. Will be responsible to the VVCA classroom teacher, and administration who will coordinate services and tasks designed. Will include supervision duties. VVCA is a small group classroom setting to help individualize learning for at risk students.
WORK YEAR: “Student day” plus vacation and holidays, 7 hours per day
QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma; ability to develop and maintain effective rapport with students, staff, administration and the community; ability to demonstrate a positive example for students to follow; ability to effectively investigate student problems and to enforce school rules.
