Elementary School Counselor
Qualifications:
-
Valid Indiana School Counselor license/certification appropriate for the elementary level
-
Strong understanding of child development and the social-emotional needs of elementary students
-
Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and staff
-
Experience providing individual counseling, small group counseling, and classroom guidance lessons
-
Knowledge of strategies for supporting student wellness and success
-
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
-
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive situations with professionalism
-
Commitment to creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all students
-
Highly motivated with the ability to relate well with children
-
Willing to be flexible with daily schedule
