Job Schedule:
What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and patients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.

Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site protocols, assisting with directions, badge verification, and/or other security-related support functions.

Support a professional environment by communicating clearly with personnel and guests, following post orders, and staying prepared to assist during medical and facility-related incidents.
Minimum Requirements:

A current armed guard card or license is required.

At least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.

A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Pepper spray certification is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
